Training, skills, and the proper materials insures a job goes well. Thermal Windows brings over twenty years of experience to every job we do.

A well built window that is poorly installed is worse than a poorly built window properly installed.

If you were to ask most window manufacturers "What is the most common problem you find in the field with your windows?", most would reply," Installation related issues". These can range from improper window sizing, to sub-standard sealants being used.

Few manufacturers warranties cover installation related problems, and none of them cover the damages caused as a result of an improper installation. This is why we do not use outside sub-contracted workers to remove and install windows for us.

Our windows were designed as a system. That system covers how our windows should be installed. Our installers are trained to install windows the way we designed them to be installed. No short cuts. We feel the installation is one of the most important phases of the job.

We are the only window manufacturer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that maintains a full time, employee staffed, installation department fully trained to install our windows.

If someone tells you they use "their own people", ask to see the insurance on their employees. You might find they don't have any employees, just independent contractors working on a job by job basis.

Most window and home improvement companies operate by finding a supplier to sell them windows and a contractor to remove and install those windows. They have independent salespeople to sell their windows and the window/home improvement company spends their money primarily on advertising to attract new business. They don't have to supply benefits for employees, take out payroll taxes, or pay social security on their workforce. If work gets slow, they don't have the overhead of wages and unemployment.

They tell their contractors to supply their own insurance, truck, and tools. If the contractor needs additional help, the contractor must find it and pay them out of the money the window company pays for installing the windows. If there is a problem, the contractor must deal with it.

We do not operate that way. Everyone involved is an employee of Thermal Windows. We supply all the tools, help, and materials needed to do the job right. We are fully insured to protect you, the homeowner. We have people on staff to stand behind our work after the sale. We believe this is the best way to serve those people who have placed their trust in us with their homes.
