In an industry that’s brought up middle men installers who are overly attached to “standard sizes” and obscene costs for special orders, buyers have to beware which pieces of advice are “best for the customer,” and which are “best for the seller.”
Of course, this also applies to traditional shapes at larger than common sizes. Many times, manufacturers are uncomfortable shipping very large windows across state/country, and installers therefore don’t have enough experience to want to work with them.
